 Caution should be exercised by the user of this feature class. This feature class does not contain fields of attribution for MEDS attributes of ADDRESS, ADDRESS2, ZIP, ZIP+4, COUNTY, TELEPHONE (non-PII general switchboard phone number), and COUNTY FIPS, nor does it contain other attributes to indicate tower height, tower type, whether the tower is on a building, or the tower registration number. Examination of the data also reveals uncertainty about the locational information; it is ambiguous if the values in the CITY field represent the city where the transmitter is located or the city where the licensee is located. This uncertainty produces out-of-area results, or mismatches between CITY and the geographic coordinates of the actual point of the feature. Also unstated is how the coordinates have been obtained – if provided by the license holders or obtained through other means. If you are using this dataset as a shapefile, please be aware that it was converted from a Geodatabase. As a result, this shapefile may have attribution and metadata errors resulting from the conversion process. The following are known issues: null values may have been changed to 0s (zeros) or to blank values, numbers (including latitude and longitude) may have been rounded up or down, there may be issues with Unicode character strings, and time cannot be stored in a date field. Field names may have been truncated to no longer than 10 characters or completely changed, lengthy string attributes may have been truncated to 254 characters, and attribute columns may have been deleted. Shapefiles do not support coded domains and subtypes therefore the original file geodatabase attribution and metadata information for coded domains and subtypes could be incorrect or missing in the shapefile version. Description: Updated the LONDD field with negative signs to reflect the correct hemispherical placement. Updated the LATDD and LONDD for both American Samoa points ('K11UU' and 'KKHJ-LP') to have negative signs for both. These points were moved to the new locations. Adjusted the spatial location of MP and GU points to the values listed in their LATDD and LONDD fields. Standardized spelling and removed extraneous information from entries in the CITY field. Removed erroneous negative sign from the '-0.46 kW' entry in the ERP field. Updated '- --' values to 'NOT AVAILABLE' in the FILENUM field. Updated blank and '-' values to 'NOT AVAILABLE' in the LICENSEE field. Updated domain sources and definitions in the FILENUM and LICENSEE attribute metadata to include 'NOT AVAILABLE'.
